Insafety offers First Aid courses in English in and around Oss (North Brabant) with official certificate from the European Recuscitation Council (ERC) or the Red Cross (Internationally recognized).

First aid for adults, babies and children

Under the supervision of a certified Red Cross instructor, you learn how to administer First Aid to someone who is unresponsive or has a bruise, sprain, dislocation, cut, graze, burn, neck or spinal injury, stroke, chest pain, poisoning or is choking or suffocating.

 You will learn how to act in case of:

  • CPR (Resuscitation) and use of an AED (automatic external defibrillator) for babies, children and adults
  • Unconsiousness (recovery position)
  • Suffocation of babies, children and adults
  • Burns
  • Cuts and bleedings
  • Bone/ muscle and tendon injuries (sprains, strains, broken bones, dislocations)
  • Head- neck- and spinal injuries
  • Poisoning (incl CO poisoning)
  • Heart attack and heart failure
  • CVA
  • Epileptic insult
  • Diabetes
  • Hypothermia / hyperthermia
  • Fainting
  • Febrile convulsions
  • Eye injury
  • Children’s diseases
  • Shortness of Breath, breath holding spells, panic attacks
  • Minor injuries/ stings and bites

Practical information:

  • Course fee: €260 per participant (VAT included)
  • 18 hours e-learning + 8,5 hours practical training
  • Including official European recognized Red Cross certificate
  • Often reimbursed by additional health insurance.

Repetition course

Do you already have a Red Cross Advanced First Aid Certificate and want to keep this valid? It is possible to take a repetition course on the same day/time slot as the practical training. To register, choose the desired (start) date and fill in the registration form. The course fee for the repetition course is €185.

Children’s first aid

Under the supervision of a certified Red Cross instructor, you learn how to administer First Aid to someone who is unresponsive or has a bruise, sprain, dislocation, cut, graze, burn, neck or spinal injury, poisoning or is choking or suffocating.

You will learn how to act in case of:

  • Resuscitation and use of AED for babies and children
  • Unconsiousness (recovery position)
  • Suffocation of babies and children
  • Drowning
  • Burn, cuts, scrapes, bleeds, nose bleeds
  • Head- neck- and spinal injuries
  • Poisoning
  • Severe allergic reactions
  • Febrile convulsions
  • Trouble breathing
  • Bone/ muscle and tendon injuries (sprains, strains, broken bones, dislocations)
  • Head- neck- and spinal injuries
  • Split lip, teeth injuries
  • Foreign objects in nose or ear, particle(s) in the eye
  • Stings and bites

Practical information:

  • Specific course for first aid to babies and (small) children
  • Course fee: €115 per participant (VAT included)
  • 4-6 hours e-learning + 4 hours practical training
  • Including official Red Cross certificate (IKK proof)
  • Often reimbursed by additional health insurance.

You will learn how to act in case of:

  • Lacerations, bleeds
  • Bone/ muscle and tendon injuries (sprains, strains, broken bones, dislocations)
  • Head/ neck- and spinal injuries
  • Poisoning (incl CO poisoning)
  • Heart failure
  • CVA

Practical information:

  • Course fee: €125 per participant(VAT included)
  • 8 hours e-learning + 4 hours practical training
  • Including official European recognized Red Cross certificate
